Drawing from the worlds of bluegrass, folk and roots music, American Revival is a unique lineup of the most exciting young artists in these genres today. Already known across the country from playing such prestigious events as Telluride Bluegrass Festival, Merlefest, the Grand Ole Opry and A Prairie Home Companion, American Revival brings these new stars together for the first time, for an amazing evening of new and old American music. Known for their high-octane harmonies and stunningly beautiful original songs, The Dixie Bee-Liners have been named Bluegrass Artist of the Year for 2008 by The Roots Music Association. A leading light in a new generation of bluegrass musicians, Sierra Hull combines the angelic voice of Allison Krauss with the fiery mandolin picking of Rhonda Vincent. And with world-class instrumental chops, deeply pretty vocals and an irresistibly sassy groove, the four women of Uncle Earl are leading the charge of an acoustic stringband revival.
Introduction to the Performance (6:15 pm): Dan O’Day, Midwest Family Broadcasting and Host of Dan O’s Place on 92.9 Bass Country
