COVID-19 Update

In response to concerns of the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), and a declaration of a Missouri and federal emergency, our top priority is protecting the health and well-being of our patrons, staff, volunteers, students, and touring artists. Juanita K. Hammons Hall will need to adjust events scheduled in the next few weeks. We are working with each touring company to figure out the best plan of action for these shows. As soon as we have information for a specific event, we will make details available on each show’s page at HammonsHall.com. Information will be posted on this page as well. We appreciate your patience as we work to adjust our programming.

Due to the City of Springfield’s order to shelter-in-place, we have closed the box office operations at Juanita K. Hammons Hall. Tickets are still available for purchase 24/7 at HammonsHall.com, but please note that many of our normal functions, such as ticket mailings, will be delayed.

Our business office is currently closed.

More information is available on the MSU coronavirus page.

The Play That Goes Wrong

With the producers of THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG making the difficult decision to close the tour and not rebook dates due to concerns of the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), the Springfield, MO engagement of THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG originally scheduled for March 24-26 at Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts has been canceled.

Ticket holders will be refunded from the point of purchase. Those who purchased with a credit card can expect a refund within two weeks, and those who purchased tickets with cash or check can expect a refund by check in up to four weeks. Should a governmental ordinance cause a temporary shutdown of Missouri State University operations, refunds could be delayed.

Our top priority is protecting the health and well-being of our patrons, staff, volunteers, students, and touring artists. We appreciate your understanding, and we thank you for your continued support of the arts.
